The gateway re-opened on 1 Jan 2026, presently with VARA 2750, ARDOP 2000, and PACTOR 3.

An RMS relay function (hybrid station) has been added to provide temporary storage of messages
and local routing in the event internet access to the CMS sites is lost. The relay is an 'on demand'
system and will act as follows: If internet is lost, and local links to CMS are down, a store-and
forward message server hub that will seek forwarding to a CMS via HF connections with a distant
internet-connected RMS. (Normal CMS forwarding if necessary when connectivity returns). If your group
or organization would like to test 'Post Office Mode" (individual drop off and pick up without CMS) let me know.

Center Frequencies (Dial is -1500Hz):
80m - 3593.0 kHz Wide, 40m - 7102.0 kHz Wide, 20m - 14102.0 kHz Wide, 10m - 28137.0 kHz Wide

Hardware:
Computer - Dell Inspiron 5570, 8th gen i7, Windows 11 v10.0.26100
Transceiver - Kenwood TS-890S
Amplifier - RM BLA350P-120 @ 300W
Tx Antenna - 20-160m 4-pair Fan Dipole, 50Ω coax feedline, (40' up, NW-SE orientation)
Rx Antenna - 10-160m BBFD, 600Ω feedline, 600Ω termination resistor, (40' up, NW-SE orientation)

Location:
Dublin, New Hampshire, FN32xv, ~1500’ AMSL

Work in Progress:
- Integration of Pactor 4 as an additional long-distance mode
- Experiment with stand alone "Post Office" mode (not connected to the CMS network)

Battery Backup Capacity:
1000Ah (Autonomous AGM Deep Cycle Battery Array) On loss of commercial power the amplifier is bypassed and Tx power is reduced to 100W.

NOTES:7101.5/7102.5/7103.5 kHz are being reevaulated for excessive (DX) interference.
